Arevik Mkrtchyan graduated with honors from the Design Department of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia, earning a professional qualification as a designer. Since 2009, she has been working in the Design Department of the Faculty of Design at the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, teaching a variety of specialized courses, including Color Theory, Fundamentals of Composition, Sketching Techniques, Design Project, Industry Challenges, and other subjects. She is the author and co-author of several professional courses, a scientific article, and a methodological guide for a portfolio course. She has supervised 25 graduation projects in the fields of graphic design and industrial design.
From 2020 to 2022, she lectured at the European University of Armenia. Since 2022, she has been working as a design teacher at the H. Kojoyan Art School. She has been working at the Central School of Dilijan since September 2024.
