Within the “Artbox” program, DCS 7th graders visited Sevan Secondary School No. 6 in Gegharkunik region. Our students had prepared for the meeting in advance, studied samples of Armenian jewellery art, and got acquainted with the techniques of working with clay. As a result, they gladly shared their knowledge with the host school students, making some pieces of jewellery together.
On the same day, 7th graders visited the Etiun guesthouse in Lchashen community, where they were familiarized with the Lchashen civilisation, the history of the Etiun kingdom, learnt how the excavations were conducted, watched a film about Harutyun Mnatsakanyan’s excavations in Lchashen, got acquainted with the inscription left by Argishti I in Lchashen, and tried to decipher it.
